Bridget Macdonald is a science writer who has reported on conservation, environmental policy, agriculture, and business, and provided communications support for scientific research projects, academic programs, and federal conservation agencies.

Bridget has an M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University, and an M.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her professional experience outside of writing includes more than a decade working as a seasonal interpretive park ranger for Cape Cod National Seashore in Massachusetts, and nine months working as an assistant cheesemaker in Connecticut.
